These are the plain-language terms for using this site and working with Princeton Studio. When we take on a paid project, we'll also put the specifics in a short written agreement. That agreement governs the work. This page covers the basics.
Using this site
You're welcome to read, share, and reference what's here. The writing, design, and code on this site belong to Princeton Studio, so please don't copy it wholesale or pass it off as your own.
Inquiries and quotes
Reaching out through our contact form doesn't create a contract or an obligation on either side. It just starts a conversation. Any pricing we mention publicly is our standard offer, and the final scope and price for your project get confirmed in writing before work begins.
Our work for clients
When you hire us, we build you a custom site and, if you're on the monthly plan, keep it running. Once a project is paid in full, the finished site is yours. We may use open-source components and third-party services that carry their own licenses, and we'll be upfront about anything that matters.
What you're responsible for
You're responsible for the accuracy of the content you give us and for having the right to use any text, images, or logos you provide. If something you supply isn't yours to use, that's on you, not on us.
No guarantees we can't keep
We build good sites and we stand behind our work, but we can't promise specific business outcomes like a certain amount of traffic or sales. The web changes, and so do the platforms we build on. We do our honest best to keep your site healthy and current.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page as the studio grows. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site means you're fine with the current version.
